Yesterday I was 17 years old.

Today, I'm 18!!!!!

At 17, I'm still a girl. Now I'm a woman?? XD

I like being 17. For one thing, 17 sounds younger than 18. =.=

At 18, I'm gonna leave my home for college, learn to live by myself and grow taller perhaps? (^_^)V hahaha

Omg...I'm 18 already!!!! EIGHTEEN!!!!!!! A big big BIG girl~

Ipoh & KL~

Finally! I've finished unpacking my luggage...

Just came back from KL just now. Went to Ipoh on the 24^thof December to visit my gong gong and po po.

I still remember daddy almost shouted at me before we left for Ipoh because I was still taking my sweet sweet time packing my luggage when we should be on the way to the airport. =.=

...but we still made it on time wa~ XP

when we were in Ipoh, my aunt brought us to this place called Mushroom Shrine ( i think ) and the food there is soooooooooo nice ^^ oh and i love the 'green bean peng' =D

i've been to Ipoh so many times yet this was the first time i went to one of the caves there.
-San Bao Dong-
inside the cave, there were Chinese Gods' statues and the view from the cave is breathtaking.

It was as if the place was from another part of the world. no wonder the cave is so famous. lolx
when i was there, i could totally imagine the ancient people with 'qing gong' flying across the pond or up the mountain..dancing with butterflies..hanging in mid-air fighting~~ but my cousins said i '��ò��' T_T"

on the 28th, we went to KL.

we were eating ice cream with my auntie and her bf at this store called Gelatissimo and oh the ice cream is so yummy! i especially like the lime flavour. ^^

Yesteday was mummy's birthday. ^_~
When mummy and I were shopping at the Garden, Ah Wei called and said he needed help with mummy's present. So, after buying snacks and making sure mummy went back to the hotel first, I went over to Midvalley to find him. We walked from the ground floor to the highest floor and yet there's nothing that caught his eyes.

Finally he found something at a Feng Shui shop for my mum. It's a beautifully made horse sculpture =) with 50% off. hehe..

after that, mummy's mood became normal again. LOLxxxxx.

i could only come up with two reasons for her extreme mood swings. XD

My maid will not be around for a month. mummy needa do houseworks and we're not very guai
i'm leaving for Melbourne soon. mummy need to get use to the time when i'm not home. (suggested by joyce T_T haha

But now mummy is good and so am I! ^^

The third poster for Emme's third story.
(Actually I've lost count on how many stories she actually has =.= )

This poster took me the longest time to make and the one Emme and I argued the most about.
Both of us have different ideas and opinions on how the poster should be. I wanted it my way while she wanted it her way. We almost tear each other hair out and I could only imagine how black our faces were at the time. Hahaha.. However, it's fun making poster with her.
She has lots creative ideas which I'll never think of. =)

Biscuits

Things aren't very smooth now. Not that daddy mummy quarrel or anything. Just that the factory itself is facing some crisis now. 18 biscuits manufactured by factories in Johor and Penang are found contaminated with melamine last Thursday.

Actually, no melamine is used. One of the raw materials used, Ammonium Bicarbonate, when undergoes chemical reaction will produce melamine. That's how the melamine comes about. It is only found because it undergoes some freaking chemical reactions in the lab!! Like nitrogen needs hydrogen to produce ammonia. Same principle, ammonium bicarbonate needs (something) to produce melamine! And our body does not have that something! Can't the health minister get this straight?! Besides, there are sooooooooooo many things we've been eating all this while that contain Ammonium Bicarbonate. Eg, 'you cha kueh' and nobody even bother.

The minister of health is also one kind. Did he not know the seriousness of the situation if he just announced the news? Without considering the consequences, caring only for the spotlight in front of the camera, he just told the media that khong guan biscuits are poisoned! >.< as if some other brands are not! All the biscuits use the same raw materials! Other countries didn't even make a big fuss out of all this! The media mentioned so much about Khong Guan as compared to Julie or Munchy, esp Munchy. why? because Munchy always pay lots and lots of money to advertise their products in the newspaper? this is hardly fair!!

And it is not even the factory fault. How is the factory supposed to know it is contaminated? The supplies are imported from China! Before the supplies are transported to the factories to be used, the ministry of health is supposed to test for everything and make sure the supplies are safe to be consumed!! Instead, they are so lazy that they just simply test or check and because of their laziness, now the biscuits have to be collected back to be destroyed! Wth?!

At least today's newspapers said that "�̼�Ҳ��ܺ��" and the ministry of health are demanded to stop from going around testing biscuits. but So? The news is out. It cannot be erased. Reputations are ruined. People are afraid. Business is going down. This not only will affect the biscuit factory, but also the suppliers, the market�� T_T

Daddy just told me that the latest report he heard from West Malaysia is that 25 biscuits are found to be safe. All biscuits from Singapore are safe to be eaten. He��s not sure about the Kuching one yet because the biscuits here are only sent to be tested yesterday.

Hmm��I shall become a chemical analyst and see the result for myself.

Actually, the biscuits are safe. Because in Singapore, the concentration of melamine allowed is doubled of the concentration of melamine allowed in Malaysia and the biscuits in Singapore are approved by their ministry of Health! Stupid Malaysia government ar. So lousy already still act cool go and lower the concentration allowed. Now nobody dare to buy biscuit or buns. The economics are already bad enough as it is and now this! =.=" what can I say? "smart people" ~

Daddy said everything will be okay. He didn't even look stress in front of us but what about behind of us? we'll never know.. but at least the other managers in other states are all facing this together so my daddy is not alone. Last Saturday he flew down to Singapore for an emergency meeting. The outcomes seem okay, at least.

And I received my letter of offer from Trinity yesterday. As long as the fees are made, I'm guaranteed a place there. Daddy said ��һ�еĲ�˳��, ��һ��˳�Ķ��...

Hmm��Melbourne.

I like the city but in a way, it's 'Kuching'. With the same people and same thing all over again. I know I'm jumping to conclusion, still I cannot deny my feelings of resent towards it. >.< and the city itself never even do anything to me. Lolx. Oh well��I could get use to the idea of studying there I guess if I let myself. After all most of the people I know are going Taylors Melbourne. Only 5 or 6 people are going Trinity.

Anyway, I'll try to apply other colleges as well and see if they accept me. Haha..

And I'm sick or going to. All the symptoms are there. Bleeding nose, headache��or maybe I'll not fall sick if I drink enough water starting right now. *hopefully*

Hmmph..i wonder what other news are coming out from the ministry of health now. They better don't simply report.
